Alexandra Grant, Keanu Reeves’ girlfriend, is grateful she met the “Matrix” actor after she was already established in her job.
Grant discussed her relationship with Reeves and the benefits of falling in love as an adult in an interview with People on September 23.
“The good news about falling in love as an adult is that I had built my own career by the time that my relationship had begun,” she stated. “On the red carpet, I’m very confident in our relationship.” “I’m confident on my own.”
Grant admitted that she occasionally gets creatively irritated and feels like a “Maserati stuck in traffic.” However, Reeves has assisted her in overcoming this feeling.
“What I love about Keanu and our exchange is that we’re pushing each other to build new roads,” she stated. “Seeing how other people solve problems inspires me, like, ‘Oh, well, okay, this one, that’s a cul-de-sac.'” ‘How do I go about doing this other thing?'”

Grant stated that her work as an artist has “absolutely” changed since she began dating Reeves.
“I had a studio visit a few years ago, and this very kind, very high-level person said, ‘I can see that your work has gotten happier,'” she said. “That’s true. We’re all just people. We’re creatures. We’re expressing ourselves from where we are and surely feeling better. “I believe the work is more enjoyable.”

According to The New York Times Style Magazine, Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant met in 2009 at a dinner party, and just two years later, Reeves and Grant published a book together titled “Ode to Happiness,” which Reeves wrote and Grant illustrated.
Grant recalled working on the project with Reeves in a 2020 interview with British Vogue, saying their friends were the ones who encouraged them to publish the book.

“A couple of days ago with my honey,” Reeves said. “We were sleeping. We were linked. We were giggling, laughing, and smiling. I’m in a good mood. It was simply wonderful to be together.”
