Jet Li is a legend because of how he acts on TV and how good he is at martial arts. After becoming a sensation at a young age and sweeping his home country of China with all of his talents, Li went into movies when he was discovered by director Tsui Hark when he was in his teens. Hark cast Li in his film Shaolin Temple, which was the start of a long and very successful career.

Even though he can’t be the action hero he used to be because of health problems like hyperthyroidism and back problems, the actor stays close to his love in the seventh art by making special appearances in movies like the Expendables saga or the live-action Mulan.

On April 26, Jet Li turns 60. He is one of the stars who has killed the most people in his movies, so there’s no better way to remember him than to count up the best movies he’s been in.
