Indiana Jones 5 Review and All about the Harrison Ford Movie

The first film in the Indiana Jones movie series, Raiders of the Lost Ark, came out more than 40 years ago. Harrison Ford played a professor with a sense of adventure who goes in search of the Ark of the Covenant (yes, the one from the Bible) to keep it from falling into the hands of the Nazis, who thought the object had a special power that could help them win the war and take over the world.

Indy won that fight and continued his adventure in The Temple of Doom. After getting away from a few bad guys, he went to a small town in India where he found that the children and a sacred stone had gone missing, and it seemed like a mysterious king was to blame.

Things got hard, but Doctor Jones used all his smarts and finally got back what he had stolen and beat a bloody cult. He then made a third movie in which he and his father went on one last quest, which was not the end of their adventures.

In 2008, Harrison Ford went back as Indiana Jones to the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. There, he met up with old and new friends for an adventure that made him once again the enemy of a group of dangerous soldiers with very macabre plans. The movie didn’t do very well, but now the star has a second chance to show that Indy is still good.

Indiana Jones 5 review shows that the movie is one of the best action movies of the year. In it, Indy is older and wiser, but he’s still up for a great journey.

The Trailer

About it, Lucasfilm said: Harrison Ford is back as the famous archaeologist hero in the fifth installment of the famous “Indiana Jones” series. James Mangold (“Ford v. Ferrari,” “Logan”) is in charge of the film. Starring alongside Ford are Phoebe Waller-Bridge (“Fleabag”), Antonio Banderas (“Pain and Glory”), John Rhys-Davies (“Raiders of the Lost Ark”), Shaunette Renee Wilson (“Black Panther”), Thomas Kretschmann (“Das Boot”), Toby Jones (“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”), Boyd Holbrook (“Logan”), Oliver Richters (“Black Widow”), Ethann Isidore (“Mortel”) and Mads Mikkelsen (“Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore”). The movie is directed by James Mangold and produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel. Steven Spielberg and George Lucas are executive producers. John Williams, who has written the music for every Indiana Jones movie since “Raiders of the Lost Ark” in 1981, is back to score this one.

The first images

Fans were very excited about the first official picture, which showed Harrison Ford wearing the classic look of an adventurous explorer. He wore this look in the previous movies, where he fought Nazis, a cult, and enemy looters to get back valuable and powerful artifacts.

The picture also showed Indy standing in a crumbling old building, which proves that we will see him again discovering secret places that time has forgotten.

The actors

Harrison Ford was cast early on, and he has always said he wouldn’t let anyone else play the character he made famous in the 1980s. Phoebe Waller-Bridge (of Fleabag and No Time to Die) plays Helena, who is Dr. Jones’ goddaughter and the reason he doesn’t retire and goes looking for the Dial of Fate.

How long is Indiana Jones 5 (Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny)

The movie is set at the end of the 1960s, during the space race. It has anti-Vietnam War propaganda and banners that celebrate the return of astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin after their famous moon landing in 1969.
