Captain America 4 movie will be very different from the others. In the new movie, Anthony Mackie will play Captain America, but it’s not clear if Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan will be back.
The fourth part of Cap’s story takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame and the Falcon and the Winter Soldier series. This means that Steve Rogers is still old and out of the game, and Sam Willson will take his place as one of humanity’s new guardians.
Since the last part of Falco and the Winter Soldier came out, people have been talking about the movie. Now, it has been confirmed that it will happen and that Anthony Mackie has already signed his contract to play the main character, so we can assume that he did. We’re going to see him get even deeper into his new role as Captain America.
This would be the first MCU movie to show a different Captain America, which opens up a lot of options for the future.

The First Official Image of Captain America 4
Marvel posted the first picture from the set of Captain America 4, which shows Harrison Ford and Anthony Mackie getting ready to film a scene. The photo doesn’t show anything about the movie itself.
Who will be Captain America in the new Captain America movie?
Only Anthony Mackie has been announced to return as Sam Wilson from the original cast. However, Sebastian Stan became his friend during the series, so it is likely that he will also return as Bucky Barnes.
We might also see Zemo, played by Daniel Bruhl, at the Dora Milaje (as a link to Black Panther 2), and we hope to see Steve Rogers, played by Chris Evans, in an appearance as well. And I’m sure Sharon Carter is going to cause trouble. In the show, Countess Valentina also hired US Agent, so it’s also possible to see them somewhere.

Harrison Ford plays Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who is now president of the United States. Liv Tyler plays Thaddeus’s wife, Betty Ross, and Tim Blake Nelson plays Samuel Sterns, who we saw in The Incredible Hulk. Shira Haas from “Unorthodox” and Danny Ramirez from “Top Gun: Maverick” are also in the movie.
A Brave New Captain America
Captain America: Brave New World is Mackie’s first feature as Captain America, following Falcon and the Winter Soldier, in which he took over the mantle after Steve Roger (Chris Evans) put the shield in his capable hands following the events of Avengers: End Game. While narrative details are scarce, fans can expect Danny Ramirez to reprise his role as the Falcon, with Carl Lumbly, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas, and Xosha Roquemore.
Captain America 4 Plot
There have already been a lot of crazy things in the MCU. The movie takes place after Wanda made The Hex and ran away to the mountains to figure out what the Darkhold was. Before that, we’re going to see the second Doctor Strange movie, and there are already rumors that Countess Valentina is trying to put together the Dark Avengers.

With all of this, the multiverse problem, different timelines, and the splitting of timelines, Sam Wilson has a lot of options. He could work with the leftover Avengers (Spider-Man, Hawkeye, Thor, and Hulk, among other important characters) again.
Also, we can’t forget that the Eternals are joining the game. Their movie takes place right after what happened in Avengers: Endgame, so it’s possible that by the time it comes out, Sam Willson will know about them and even try to get in touch with them.
The only thing that is certain is that Sam will get a chance to show the world that he is a good replacement for Steve Rogers and his Captain America, especially since John Walker went crazy and got sick because of his power in the series.

Also, Loki left the door open for another version of Steve Rogers, so there could be a lot going on in this movie, and we’re sure Marvel has big plans, especially since their series have been brave enough to suggest unusual and very different things that change the game for many characters.
Captain America: Brave New World Trailer
As Captain America 4 is still in production, there have been no official trailers or footage released. Depending on how far along they are in production, the film could be released by the end of the year or the beginning of 2024.
Director of Captain America: Brave New World
Julius Onah, who has directed movies such as Luce and The Cloverfield Paradox, will serve as the director. Later, Onah would emphasize that Brave New World’s action will be “grounded” and “tactile.” The film will likely resemble Captain America: The Winter Soldier or Black Widow, starring Scarlet Johannson.

Based on information from Marvel, the movie will come out on May 3, 2024. Captain America 4 movie has been in development since 2021, and principal photography began on March 21, 2023, under the working title Rochelle Rochelle at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. On May 16, 2023, Anthony Mackie was observed on set wearing a new costume.
