Blackpink’s Jisoo is now officially dating actor Ahn Bo-hyun, as confirmed by her agency YG Entertainment on Thursday.
The news of their relationship surfaced earlier in the day when a Korean media outlet reported on the budding romance between the two stars. Responding to the rumors, YG Entertainment stated, “[Jisoo and Ahn] are in a stage where they are getting to know each other slowly with good feelings. We would appreciate if you could watch the couple with a warm gaze.”
Interestingly, this marks the first time that YG Entertainment has openly acknowledged a dating rumor concerning a Blackpink member.
Ahn Bo-hyun, who is seven years older than Jisoo, is no stranger to the limelight. He started his career as a model in 2007 and then made a name for himself as an actor. Fans may recognize him from popular dramas like “Descendants of The Sun” (2016), “Itaewon Class” (2020), “Yumi’s Cells” (2021, 2022), and “Military Prosecutor Doberman” (2022).
As for Jisoo, she has been in the public eye since debuting with Blackpink in 2016. The girl group has become a global sensation, currently embarking on its second world tour, “Born Pink.”
