The best Vin Diesel movies are like the best action movies we’ve seen ever. Vin Diesel is one of the best action heroes of this age. He has shown this by being a key part of a few successful film sagas, such as Guardians of the Galaxy, Riddick, and Fast & Furious, which comes out this year – Fast X.
And if that wasn’t enough, Diesel is also a writer and director. Even though Groot can only say three words, “I am Groot,” he has become one of the most beloved characters in the entire MCU. Groot says a lot with just three words, showing that you don’t have to be the star with the most lines to stand out in a movie.
But in fact, Vin Diesel has played more famous characters than just that humanoid tree from the Marvel movies. He has also played Dominic Toretto, Xander Cage, and Caparzo, the soldier he played in the award-winning film. 5 Oscars, Saving Private Ryan, and the rest are all great stories that have left their mark on movies in their own way.

Fast & Furious Saga — Star+
In 2001, Diesel played Dom Toretto for the first time. This was the start of the Fast and Furious series. In that movie, Dom runs into a cop named Brian O’Connor, played by the late Paul Walker, who is out to kill him. After meeting him, Dom realizes he’s on the wrong side and starts to wonder who he really supports. Now there are 10 movies in the series. Great women like Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, and Brie Larson, who worked with Vin Diesel on the Avengers movies, have joined the cast.
Guardians of the Galaxy Saga — Disney+
Guardians of the Galaxy has one of the best stories in the MCU. It all starts with Peter Quill, a boy who is taken by “aliens” and turns into some kind of mercenary. He then gathers a group of people who don’t fit in and turns them into heroes who fight to protect the world. Diesel plays Groot, an alien who looks like a tree and can only say three words, but he and Bradley Cooper’s Rocket are the heart of the team.
Thor: Love and Thunder — Disney+
Groot’s story isn’t just about the Guardians of the Galaxy. It also crosses over with that of the Avengers, and he shows up again as a teen tree in Thor: Love and Thunder. Thor finds out that a godslayer wants to kill him and has taken the children of New Asgard hostage. He has to come out of retirement and work with Valkyrie and The Mighty Thor, aka Jane Foster, to stop the godslayer and save the world again.

The Iron Giant — Disney+
One of the best animation movies is this one. The story takes place in the 1950s and is about a boy who finds a giant robot in his town and has to protect it from a government spy who wants to catch it and probably do experiments on it. The movie won a BATA because Diesel, Jennifer Aniston, Harry Connick Jr., and Cloris Leachman all did voice work for it.
Riddick Saga – Prime Video
The Riddick saga is based on the popular video games and is about a criminal named Richard Bruno Riddick. He is a kind of superhero who can fight and see in the dark, which helps him fight against different races of aliens who want to destroy the human race. Riddick is eventually seen as a threat and becomes a wanted criminal, but he is constantly forced to risk his life to save the world.

XXX Saga — Star+
In an action-adventure movie from 2002, Diesel played Xander Cage. Samuel L. Jackson was also in the movie. The story of XXX starts when an extreme sports athlete named Xander Cage is recruited by the government. They need his help to infiltrate a Russian criminal group so they can destroy it. In return, they will let him stay out of jail for a long time.
Saving Private Ryan
Saving Private Ryan movie is definitely one of the best Vin Diesel movies. He plays a soldier named Caparzo. The movie is one of the most famous war stories, and it’s about a group of troops who have to go behind enemy lines to save a trapped soldier and get him back home, since he’s the only one left in his family after all his brothers died in the war.
