Mission Impossible 8 is a much better than we thought it would be, and we had great hopes from the beginning. Actually the name of Mission Impossible 2 is named Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2.

The movie starts when Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) has to take on a new mission. This sends him back to Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson) to look for a cruciform key that is linked to a powerful artificial intelligence called “The Entity” that is causing chaos around the world and could be very dangerous if it gets into the wrong hands.

Ethan knows that whoever has this key will have a lot of power, so he chooses to go off course a little to try to get it before anyone else does so he can destroy The Entity. This leaves him in the dark.

On top of that, Hunt is up against an old enemy from her past. This enemy is the reason she became an IMF agent in the first place, which is described at the beginning of the first part of Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning. As the mission goes on, Hunt learns that he and everyone else are in danger.

The End of Mission Impossible 7 Part 1

After running into Grace (Hayley Atwell) and losing the key, and finding out that an old enemy named Gabriel is involved, Hunt and his team go to Venice to try to get it back.

There, the first tragedy happens: Ilsa confronts Gabriel and is killed while Tom Cruise runs through the city to get to her. Grace, on the other hand, lives and figures out that the only way for her to go now is to become an IMF agent and help Ethan get the leads.

This takes them to the Orient Express, where Grace pretends to be Alana (Vanessa Kirby) and sells the key to a secret buyer, who turns out to be Kittridge. Gabriel is there, though, and he plans to get the key by destroying the train and setting off bombs along the way to kill everyone on board. Gabriel gets away, but Hunt keeps the key. He finds out that the key to killing The Entity is in a Russian submarine called Sebastopol.

In the end, Hunt realizes that Gabriel has the same knowledge and that he must find a way to get to the prime sub to destroy The Entity, save the lives of the rest of his team, and prove once more that he is not the enemy.

Who is Gabriel?

From what we see at the start of the movie, Gabriel is someone Ethan Hunt knew in the past. In flashbacks, we see him kill a woman, which is what makes Ethan agree to join the IMF, even though this isn’t said in the first movie. We don’t know who the woman he killed is, but it’s clear that she was important to Ethan. That’s why it hurt him so much to lose Ilsa and think about losing Grace.

Now, Gabriel is some kind of spy who works for The Entity, who also likes to hurt everyone he meets. What does he want? Most likely, you would try to kill as many people as possible, starting a chain of events in which friends become enemies and enemies become attackers.

Mission Impossible 8 Plot

We don’t yet have an official plot for Mission: Impossible 8, but we do know how the next film will begin.

While Gabriel is the main antagonist in Dead Reckoning, it’s safe to argue that the ultimate enemy is an all-powerful AI known as the “entity.” Because the creature has the ability to distort digital data and has already hacked into the globe’s intelligence network, whomever controls it effectively controls the entire planet.

The entity was created by the US government, and it was tested on a Russian submarine called the Sevastopol to see if it could show them where the stealth submarine was. The creature, predictably, turned renegade and destroyed the sub.

The entity’s source code is saved on the Sevastapol, and the only way to access it is with a cruciform key. Fortunately, Ethan has said key, and at the end of Mission: Impossible 7, Paris tells him that he must discover the Sevastopol.

Ethan has no idea where it is, but he plans to discover it in order to eliminate the monster, which can only be done at its source. Gabriel, who is performing the entity’s bidding, will try to stop him; plainly, the creature does not want to be destroyed.

This confrontation between Ethan and Gabriel will serve as the foundation for Mission: Impossible 8, as Ethan is aware that Gabriel is aware of the location of Sevastopol. We think there will be a lot more spycraft going on as well, but here is where the next film will begin.

When is Mission Impossible 8 released?

Reports say that the movie will come out on June 28, 2024. By that time, the first one will already be available to stream.

Who is back for Mission Impossible 7 part 2?

Ethan and Grace, played by Tom Cruise and Hayley Atwell, are back for the movie, along with Benji and Luther, played by Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames.

Most likely, Vanessa Kirby as Alana and Henry Czerny as Kittridge, as well as Pom Klementieff as Paris, who was almost dead at the end of the first part, will be back. Shea Wingham and Greg Tarzan Davis’s characters also have to finish their stories with Ethan, and Esai Morales, who plays Gabriel, will definitely be in a final fight.
