The development team has stated that the Day Before release date would be November 10, 2023. The game was supposed to be released in March, but it was delayed instead, with the makers explaining why in the Tweet shown below.

Which consoles and platforms can play The Day Before?

The Day Before is now available on PC via Steam, as well as on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Unfortunately, there is no indication that the zombie MMO will be launched on the PS4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch. We doubt those three platforms could run this game without significant changes to the game's excellent graphics. It is unlikely to be ported to last-generation PCs or the Switch.

The Day Before is a zombie survival open-world MMO. If you've ever seen The Walking Dead and wished you could be a part of it (we don't judge), you're in luck. You will be entrusted with surviving in any manner you can in this post-apocalyptic vision of America, with zombies everywhere. Aside from third-person shooting, the game offers large-scale exploration and drivable, detailed vehicles that you may locate dispersed across the area or steal from other survivors. You can also take weapons and food from other players. Out there, it's kill or be killed. Of course, you can work in a team for survival and play with friends/family while scavenging for supplies. In the midst of the zombie-infested storm, a colony of survivors will help keep the peace. You will be able to sell your treasure and converse with other players here without fear of PvP gunfights.
