Foundation is one of the best science fiction shows on the air right now. The show is based on a series of books by Isaac Asimov. It has a great cast of both well-known actors and newcomers who help tell a story that takes place in space and far in the future.
The first season started when Gaal Dornick, a woman from a water planet with a very strict religious group, figured out how to solve a math problem that proved a man’s theory that the end of the most powerful empire in the universe was coming.
That empire is run by an emperor who clones himself to stay in power for centuries. This discovery is a huge problem for his empire, so he decides to banish the expert and all his followers, sending them to a faraway planet where they must do whatever they can to stop the destruction they predicted. From there, things get out of hand.
Fundación has a great story and great visual effects and scenarios that would make Asimov and any sci-fi fan proud. Its themes include the need to transcend, the possibility of predicting the future, the step of leaving a legacy, and saving humanity.
Foundation Season 2: Where to Watch
The first season of the show is now available on Apple TV+, where you can watch it all.
How did the Foundation season 2 end?
After sending Hari, Gaal, and the rest of their followers to a faraway planet, the Emperor goes on his own spiritual journey to show his opponents that he does have a soul and deserves to stay as the ruler of the universe.
Gaal wakes up in space and finds out that Hari was killed before he got to his destination. He also finds out what he plans to do with her. Salvor Hardin, on the other hand, finds out more about the mysterious monolith in the middle of the planet, while Gaal goes there without letting anyone know she is still alive.
On the other side of the universe, the emperor is getting ready for a war that could be what brings down the empire and starts what is known as the Second Crisis.
