Henry Cavill has given fans the answer they were looking for. On Monday, October 24, the actor posted a video to his social media networks in which he confirms that he will play Superman in future projects. (We ‘ll talk Black Adam spoilers next .) This comes just a few days after the release of the DC movie Black Adam, in which he wears the classic suit in the scene after the credits. This suggests that the two heroes could face off in a future movie.
Superman comes back
Black Adam and Superman don’t seem to be fighting in that scene after the credits, but the way they look at each other makes us really excited for the future. But while Black Adam has confirmed a second part, nothing has been confirmed about a new Superman movie or any other project in which Cavill is involved. So, to make fans feel better, the man has said that he will come back at some point.
Henry Cavill said in a video with a picture of him in his Superman outfit, “I wanted to make it official that I’m back as Superman.” “What they saw in Black Adam was just a small taste of what was to come.”
Let’s not forget that the last time Cavill was part of the DC Universe was when he filmed The Justice League in 2017. Even though Zack Snyder’s version of the movie just came out, there has been no talk of the hero coming back. Instead, the franchise has been focusing on other heroes like Aquaman, Shazam, and soon Flash. And even though Robert Pattinson, Ben Affleck, and Michael Keaton have all played Batman in recent movies, nothing had been said about Superman.

On the other hand, there were rumors that DC didn’t know what to do with the hero, and that he would be played in other stories by a different actor. But since Dwayne Johnson started promoting Black Adam, the man agreed that he should come back. He even made an appearance in the movie a few weeks before it came out. In fact, another recent report said that he almost showed up, but he didn’t show his face (which happened in Shazam).
