Vishal Bharadwaj has once again teamed up with Tabu for “Khufiya,” a slow-burning spy thriller adapted from Amar Bhushan’s novel “Escape to Nowhere.” The story revolves around Krishna Mehra (played by Tabu), an operative at the Research & Analysis Wing, as she embarks on a mission to uncover a traitor leaking India’s defense secrets. 2. Gadar 2

Sunny Deol’s “Gadar 2,” directed by Anil Sharma, has made a significant impact at the box office this year. This movie serves as a sequel to Anil Sharma’s 2001 film, “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.” In “Gadar 2,” Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel reprise their roles as Tara Singh and Sakeena. Anil Sharma’s son, Utkarsh Sharma, also returns to play Jeete in the film. The story is set in 1971 and follows Tara Singh as he embarks on a journey across the border to rescue his son, who has been held captive in Pakistan.

This high-stakes erotic thriller features Phoebe Dynevor and Alden Ehrenreich in the lead roles, promising a gripping narrative.

4. OMG 2

After navigating through unusual challenges during the review process with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Akshay Kumar’s “OMG 2” is set to make its debut on OTT platforms on October 8. Directed by Amit Rai, this film serves as a sequel to the 2012 movie “OMG,” in which Akshay portrayed the character of Lord Krishna. “OMG 2” features Pankaj Tripathi in the role of a devoted follower of Lord Shiva, with Akshay playing the messenger of Lord Shiva. Yami Gautam also stars in the film, portraying the character of a lawyer.

“Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty” features Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty in the lead roles and is directed by Mahesh Babu P. In this romantic drama, Anushka Shetty portrays the character of a chef. The storyline revolves around a woman in her 40s who desires to have children without getting married. To achieve this, she opts for a sperm donor, played by Naveen Polishetty, leading to complex situations as he eventually falls in love with her.
