SUV, electric car, and China. That is the cool way to put things together. And the Seres 3 puts all three of these things together to offer one of the most interesting and affordable ways to get started in the world of 100% electric mobility, with a price that can stay at €25,995 with all discounts and government aid.
The Seres 3 is an updated version of a model already on the market called the DFSK Seres 3, which was also brought into our country by Invicta Motor. So, it’s not really a new model.
Now, the Burgos group has split the two names apart to focus on electric cars in this new brand. The Seres 3 is the first car in this new brand, and it will be joined by the Seres 5 sedan and the Seres 7, a large SUV with seven seats, by the end of the year.
163 CV and 331 km of autonomy under the WLTP cycle
The Seres 3 has an electric motor that has 163 HP and 300 Nm of torque. This allows it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 160 km/h.
The lithium battery has a capacity of 54.35 kWh, and it uses an expected average of 17 kWh per 100 km. This gives it an approved range of 331 km under the WLTP cycle, which can be surpassed by driving only in cities.

In terms of charging, the Seres 3 can be hooked up to fast charging alternating or direct current points, which lets it go from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes on a 100 kW outlet. If the power of the point is 6.6 kW, it would take 8 hours to charge the battery all the way from zero. A time that would go up to 5:00 p.m. if a home plug with 3.7 kW of power was made stronger.
Compact SUV proposal
With a length of 4.38 meters, a width of 1.85 meters, and a height of 1.65 meters, the Seres 3 fits into the small SUV segment. Its wheelbase is 2.67 meters.
And we say “taken advantage of” because the interior has a lot of space, like the 82 cm of space in the back seats, which in turn are more comfortable because the floor is completely flat.
With 5 seats, the trunk can only hold 310 liters, which isn’t much, but it can hold 1,247 liters if the backs of the back seats are folded down all the way.

There are two 10.25-inch digital screens at the command post. One is for the instrumentation, and the other is on the dashboard and is used for guidance, multimedia, and connectivity. Below this screen are the settings for the temperature and a surface for charging cell phones wirelessly.
The Luxury version, which is already on the market, stands out because it is fully equipped with features like keyless door opening and ignition, heated and electrically foldable exterior mirrors, air vents for the back seats, two USB ports, and a practical panoramic roof with an electric sunshade.
Electric mobility from 25,995 euros and with an 8-year warranty
But a price of only 25,995 euros in a fictional ad is surprising. A very fair price, but the user doesn’t have to pay that much because it can be reached by adding all the discounts and government help, like Moves III with scrap metal and the 15% reduction on personal income tax.

To get that hypothetical number below 26,000 euros, 4,000 euros would have to be taken off the cash price of 39,995 euros from the brand’s financing promotion, 7,000 euros would have to be taken off the Moves III Plan with scrap (4,500 euros without scrapping a car), and 3,000 euros would have to be taken off the income statement because of the personal income tax.
The Seres 3 also comes with an 8-year or 150,000 km warranty, which should put to rest any questions or worries about Chinese cars.
