In November 2023, Apple Music released its annual personalized Replay feature, allowing users to see their top songs, artists, albums, and more from the past year. Replay arrived a full day before streaming rival Spotify dropped its similar Spotify Wrapped experience. While Spotify pioneered shareable year-end listening recaps when it launched Wrapped in 2016, Apple Music entered the race in 2019 with its Replay product. The two services have continued to try to one-up each other ever since.
How Apple Music Replay Works
Apple Music Replay lives permanently inside the Apple Music app, compiling users’ listening data on a weekly basis as long as “Use Listening History” is enabled across devices. The more robust, visually dynamic version that landed on November 28 allows Apple Music subscribers to easily share their 2022 highlights on social media.
Accessing and Sharing Your Replay
To view Replay, visit replay.music.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID. Your personalized highlight reel will showcase the top songs, artists, albums, genres, and total listening time from the past year. Apple Music also auto-generates a shareable playlist, so you can revisit your most-played music from 2022.
