The Bear was without a doubt the best show of 2016. A short comedy with a lot of dramatic undertones, full of interesting characters from head to toe, and a frantic feel that perfectly mimics the toxic atmosphere of both high-end and low-end restaurants. As we said, The Bear will show how our characters try to run their new restaurant, called The Bear, and make it a success. The show’s creators and producers have confirmed that Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) and Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) will not fall in love with each other.
However, they will keep working together. “We wanted to do something that was about friendship and togetherness,” creator Christopher Storer told Variety. “It’s funny that, out of all the crazy things that happen on the show, this was one of the things that people wanted. It was interesting because Ayo and Jeremy since they are our friends and wonderful people, I think they have a lot of charisma.
