If the strain of working on a 13-inch laptop after three years of remote and hybrid work is finally getting to you, we have excellent news: Monday’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) announcement by Apple included a 15-inch MacBook Air.
This new MacBook Air 2023 15.3-inch display is the largest in Apple’s ultraportable laptop series, which previously maxed out at 13.6 inches, yet it weighs only 3.3 pounds. A person who desires a machine that is both portable and truly functional will find this option appealing.
Apple did not adopt the “go big or go home” philosophy for the majority of this laptop’s specifications. It has the same custom M2 chip, Liquid Retina display, 18-hour battery life, 1080p FaceTime HD camera, and fanless design as the 13-inch MacBook Air from last summer, which was an outstanding machine. In addition, it includes two Thunderbolt ports, a MagSafe charging connector, and a headphone jack. In addition to its larger dimensions, the 15-inch model has a sound system with six speakers instead of four.
