Elon Musk Sued by Grimes Over Parental Rights

Elon Musk Sued by Grimes

Grimes has sued her on-again, off-again partner, Elon Musk, for parental rights to their three children. Grimes, born Claire Boucher, reportedly filed a petition to establish parental tie in San Francisco on September 29. Although the complaint is sealed, Vulture has contacted Grimes’ lawyer and representatives for both parties.

It’s a standard legal process for unmarried parents, but Grimes hasn’t asked for custody or child support. The appeal comes just weeks after Grimes asked Musk’s biographer, Walter Isaacson, to “tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer.” (She later took down the post.) She’s talking about their third child, Techno Mechanicus. They also have two children: Exa Dark Siderael, born in 2022, and X A-12, born in 2020. Grimes later said on Instagram, “I wish I could show u how cute little Techno is but my priority rn is keeping my babies out of the public eye.”
