Although not everyone agrees, Meg Ryan’s steamy sequence in “When Harry Met Sally” remains a classic.
Ryan and Billy Crystal play longtime friends who put off a sexual connection for decades before giving in to their undeniable magnetism in the 1989 romantic comedy. In one well-known scene, which was filmed inside Katz’s Delicatessen in New York City, Sally impersonates an orgasm to demonstrate to Harry how adept some women are at pretending to enjoy themselves in bed.
Despite the fact that the opening statement of the scene, “I’ll have what she’s having,” is placed No. 33 on the American Film Institute’s list of the “100 Greatest Movie Quotes Of All Time,” Ryan’s adult son Jack Quaid and daughter Daisy Ryan find it to be somewhat embarrassing.
Ryan, 61, said to Interview Magazine on August 31: “It’s interesting, my son just called me this morning and he’s in New York staying at a hotel that’s right across the street from Katz’s Deli. Actor Jack Quaid has acknowledged that he didn’t watch the movie that made his mother famous until 2018.
“I realize it’s absurd. He quipped during a 2019 interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, “I had never seen it only because when you’re a kid, and your mom has one of the most famous orgasm scenes of all time…”
Jack decided it was time to watch “When Harry Met Sally” when he was filming his own romantic comedy called “Plus One” that same year. He was upset after that.
He said to Kimmel, “I immediately started crying because of how proud I was of her. “I called her right away and apologized for not seeing it until now, and she said, “It’s OK, I’ve watched it like once. “”

Parents Meg Ryan and actor Dennis Quaid, who were wed from 1991 to 2001, have 31-year-old Jack Quaid.
