Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 4 Plot
The show takes place in the Star Trek world in the late 24th century. Earth is a member of the United Federation of Planets, which contains several species. Starfleet is the Federation’s military and exploration branch. It commands a fleet of starships that travels the galaxy in search of other alien races. Lower Decks is about the USS Cerritos, one of Starfleet’s lesser-known starships.
Lower Decks is distinct from other Star Trek series in that it concentrates on the missions and adventures of the “lower deckers,” who are low-ranking officers assigned to menial tasks. In other Star Trek programs, the spaceship captain or other senior officers are frequently the major protagonists.

Reviews
I’m not a huge fan of animated TV series. I have one small window. Archer and I occasionally watch The Simpsons, despite the fact that I believe it has been at its peak for quite some time. Lower Decks is a lot more amusing than I expected. I enjoy the references and gags about itself. It also has a lot of crass humor, which I find amusing but may not be for everyone else. My main concern is that I dislike The Simpsons.
I’m not sure how long you can go without wondering why the four primary characters aren’t getting more attention. Because it’s an animated show, the four main characters may remain Ensigns for decades. That would become tiresome after a while. Before then, though, the show is quite amusing because it does not take itself too seriously while remaining loyal to what has always made Star Trek wonderful.
