The Conjuring is a series of movies that started in 2013 and is based on the supposedly real cases of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. They use their abilities to help people who are being bothered by possessions, ghosts, and even cursed dolls.
The movies were made by James Wan, who has become one of the best horror directors working today. They show that fear can be addicting and make a lot of money.

The story starts when Ed and Lorraine, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, are asked to help a family who is being terrorized and attacked by a scary presence in their own home. However, that case was just the tip of the iceberg or more. Well, the first part of a story has turned into a universe (not unlike the Marvel movies ).
In The Conjuring, there are evil nuns, possessed dolls, and even a brutal killer. The story of Ed and Lorraine could end with a fourth movie in which Wan wraps up the story (although not the entire universe).
What is The Conjuring 4 About?
In the Conjuring movies, we’ve already seen a family that was haunted by a bad spirit, a single mother whose daughter was hurt by an evil force, and a murderer who was supposedly forced to do something bad. The Warrens were involved in another case that was made terrible by a demon, which will be shown in the fourth episode of The Warren File.

In an interview with Collider, James Wan said, “We want to take our time to make sure we get it right and make sure that the emotion of Warren’s stories that we want to tell, and moving forward, and possibly ending, we just want to make sure that it’s the right thing to do, the right story we are telling.”
For now, we don’t know much more about the story they will tell, but if this is the last book in the series, it could show some of the Warrens’ last cases. A follow-up to the 2018 movie The Nun, starring Taisa Farmiga, is also in the works. It will continue the story of that movie.
There are a lot of cases that the Warrens worked on that haven’t been covered in The Conjuring movies yet, so there are a lot of possibilities.
The Cast of The Conjuring 4
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmina have already been confirmed to play Ed and Lorraine Warren again. However, the names of the other actors who could be a part of the project have not been revealed, and it is not known if the movie could bring back some of the characters who have already been in this universe.

At the moment, we know that the script is already being written (I heard this from the writer of The Conjuring 3), and we also know that Wan has big plans for the movie, which could be the last time we see the paranormal investigators who have been in some of the most popular horror movies in recent years.
When is The Conjuring 4 Released?
There isn’t a release date yet, but it looks like filming hasn’t started because the whole cast hasn’t been chosen. This means it could be at least a year before we get more information.
James Wan has been working on his movie M3ghan, which is about a bad doll with artificial intelligence. He is also making The Nun 2, but after that, he could move on to The Conjuring 4.
