A few years after World War II, people all over the world started to look for Nazis. People like soldiers and activists tried to catch the dozens of war criminals who had escaped and were hiding in different countries.

People like Joseph Mengele and Adolf Eichmann did terrible things during the war, but they escaped justice, changed their names, and even started new lives with families who didn’t always know the truth. These people worked in secret and sometimes without help to find out what happened to them.

The stories of these Nazi Hunters movies and series became books, movies and series, ranging from the true story, to science fiction projects that imagine what would have happened if the outcome of the war had been different.

Al Pacino, Quentin Tarantino, and Tom Cruise have all worked on similar projects. Many of them are available to stream and are worth watching, especially if you’re interested in history and the past.
