In September, Deathloop is one of the games that will be added to the Playstation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe catalogues. High-tier PS Plus members will be able to play the latest game from Arkane Studios starting September 20. They will also be able to play Assassin’s Creed Origins, Watch Dogs 2, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, and more. If you pay Rs. 849 for the Deluxe membership, you can add some classic games to your library. These include Toy Story 3, Kingdom of Paradise, and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time for the PSP, which were previously only available for the PS3 and PS Vita.

On the PlayStation Blog, Sony posted the list of all the new games that PS Plus Extra and Deluxe members will be able to play in September. (In some places, PS Plus Deluxe is called PS Plus Premium.) Sony never added classic games to the top-tier PS Plus plan last month for some strange reason.

Here’s the complete list of free games available to PlayStation Plus Extra Games September 2022:

  • Deathloop (PS5)
  • Assassin’s Creed Origins (PS4)
  • Watch Dogs 2 (PS4)
  • Dragon Ball Xenoverse (PS4)
  • Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition (PS4)
  • Chicory: A Colorful Tale (PS4)
  • Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 5 (PS4, PS5)
  • Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX (PS4, PS5)
  • Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show (PS4)
  • Rayman Legends (PS4)
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition (PS4)

Deathloop, which was only available on PC and PS5, is the best of these. Deathloop is a first-person shooter made by the same people who made Dishonored. It takes the special abilities from stealth games and puts them on a loud, gun game-focused plane. The story is about two rival assassins who are stuck in a strange loop of time. The only way out is to get rid of the eight “Visionaries,” who control the loop completely.

The game also has a player-versus-player (PvP) feature that lets you raid another player’s world and hunt them down in a thrilling competition to see who is the best assassin. Now that Deathloop is on PS Plus, Xbox fans online are asking for it to come out on their system as well. When Microsoft bought Bethesda for $7.5 billion (about Rs. 59,631 crores), it promised that all of the company’s games would be available on Xbox systems. Due to the agreement between PlayStation and Bethesda for a year of exclusivity, fans can expect Deathloop to join the green team sometime after September 14.

The blog post also talks about the Classics Catalogue, which is only available to members of PS Plus Deluxe or Premium. As part of the PlayStation Classics collection, it adds Syphon Filter 2, The Sly Collection, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, Bentley’s Hackpack, Toy Story 3, and Kingdom of Paradise this month.

Sony also showed off the three free games that every PS Plus member will get this month. On September 6, Need for Speed Heat, Toem, and Granblue Fantasy: Versus will be available to members of PS Plus Essential and the plans above it.

In India, the price of a PlayStation Plus Deluxe subscription starts at Rs. 849 per month, while the price of an Extra subscription starts at Rs. 749 per month.
