Many people have been waiting for Deadpool 3, and even though we didn’t hear anything about the return of the irreverent antihero for years, we finally have news about the movie.
Using the premiere of Ryan Reynolds’s most recent movie, The Project Adam, which was directed by Shawn Levy, as an excuse, the actor posted the following message on social media:
The phrase was accompanied by a photo of Adam from the movie that just came out this weekend on Netflix. The photo also showed Guy, the main character of Free Guy, which turned out to be one of the biggest surprises of last year, and Deadpool, which means that Levy will direct Deadpool 3.

The Hollywood Reporter portal confirmed the news, which means that Ryan Reynolds’s announcement means that pre-production has finally begun.
The director is talking with one of his regular actors about working together on one of Marvel’s biggest franchises.
Fans have been itching for another chapter in the violent, obscene, and, of course, very irreverent and funny Deadpool saga, which broke records in 2016 when its first installment, directed by Tim Miller, came out and did very well in 2018. Josh Brolin played Cable, and Zazie Beetz played Domino when David Leitch was in charge of the second movie.

With Disney’s purchase of 20th Century Fox in 2019, many people thought it was the end for the antihero, even though Ryan Reynolds kept saying a third Deadpool movie was on the way.
The first Deadpool movie made $783.1 million at the worldwide box office, and the second one made $785.8 million. This makes them the highest-grossing X-Men movies of all time.
What could Deadpool 3 be about?
So far, we don’t know anything about the plot of Deadpool 3. However, the fact that it is being made by Marvel Studios suggests that it will take the series in new directions, since it will likely be part of the MCU, though these details have yet to be confirmed. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who work with Reynolds often and wrote the scripts for the first two movies, will write the screenplay. Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin, who are known for their roles on the animated show Bob’s Burgers, will join them. There will always be fun and a lack of respect.
Who will be in the Cast of Deadpool 3?
So far, the only person who is definitely in Deadpool 3 is Ryan Reynolds, who will play the same role that has become his most famous.
Even though the rest of the original cast might not be back, it wouldn’t be strange to see Morena Baccarin (as Deadpool’s girlfriend Vanessa Carlysle), TJ Miller (Wade Wilson’s best friend Jack Hammer), Brianna Hildebrand (as Negasonic, a young member of the X-Men), and Stefan Kapii (as the villain Cable) back (as Colossus, an accomplished X-Men).
On the other hand, Josh Brolin as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino are less likely to appear again due to their busy schedules. However, Deadpool 3 is not a small project, so the actors could use this first film for other projects and anything could happen.
If we start speculating about it now, one rumor that gets stronger every day is that Reynolds and Levy could have Hugh Jackman in the movie.
