The Most Anticipated Streaming TV Series in 2023

The list of series for 2023 is very interesting and includes a few projects that many people have been waiting for for months.

The first show of the year will be The Last of Us, a show starring Pedro Pascal that is based on the same-named video game and follows a group of people who have survived a mysterious virus. But that’s just the start. In the next few months, we can expect to hear some great stories.

This year will be full of projects set in the Marvel and Star Wars universes. New seasons of shows like Loki and The Mandalorian are expected to start, and Agatha Harkness and Ahsoka will be the main characters in their own solo projects.

Also, this will be the year that shows like Servant and Succession end (possibly season 4, which is thought to be the last), and stories like The Last Airbender and the Mayfair Witches may become big hits around the world.

The Last of Us – Enero 15, HBO Max

This series is based on a video game with the same name. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey are the main characters. The last of Us is the story of two people who survive the end of the world caused by a pandemic. Their paths cross, and they have to face all kinds of problems to find a safe place to live.

Avatar: The Last AirBender – Netflix

Based on the same-named animated series, this Live Action series starts when two brothers from a small tribe free a boy who had been trapped in the ice for years. They find out that the boy is the Avatar, an enlightened and reincarnated being who can control the elements of fire, air, water, and earth, and that he is the key to bringing peace to the world and uniting all the tribes.

Kaleidoscope – Enero 1, Netflix

This Netflix series, also called Jigsaw, wants to change the way we think about series. It is a story that can be seen from beginning to end, end to beginning, or in the middle, so each person will see a different version of the story.

Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witcher, issue 8 (platform to be confirmed)

Alexandra Daddario joins the world of Anne Rice (hence the name Interview with the Vampire) with this witchy story about a woman who finds out that she is part of an ancient line of women with supernatural powers and that she is the only one who can destroy a dark presence that has been haunting her family for generations.

Copenhagen Cowboy – Enero 5, Netflix

Nicholas Winding Refn, who directed The Neon Demon, is the creator of this crime series. It’s about a woman named Miu who lives in the complicated, strange, and colorful criminal world of Copenhagen. She goes on a supernatural journey to get justice and revenge from a mysterious woman, who shows her that there are many other people like her.

That 90’s Show – Enero 19, Netflix

This show is the follow-up to That 70’s Show. In it, we meet the children of the original characters and learn about their lives as teenagers in the 1990s, when, ironically, they are in situations that are very similar to those of their parents.

Secret invasion – Disney+

This series, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Emilia Clarke, is about how Nick Fury and Talos must work together to stop a group of Skrulls who have come to Earth to gain power and control over the universe.

Ahsoka – Disney+

The main characters of this series, which is a spin-off of The Book of Boba Fett, are Rosario Dawson and Hayden Christensen (also known as Darth Vader). The series is about what happens to Ahsoka Tano after the Jedi go into hiding.

The Acolyte – Disney+

This is one of the most-anticipated Star Wars projects, and it stars Dafne Keen, Amandla Sternberg, and Carrie-Anne Moss. The Acolyte tells about the last days of the High Republic and how dark forces in the universe started to grow.

Agatha: House of Harkness – Disney+

Agatha Harkness will also have a show with Kathryn Hahn as the main character. We don’t know much about it yet, but it’s likely that it will tell the story of Agatha before she came to the world created by Wanda, showing how she became the powerful villain who will play a big part in the future of the MCU.
