In the sequel to Knives Out, Glass Onion, the detective is back with a new case. This time, he doesn’t have to get the members of a wealthy family with a lot of secrets to talk. Instead, he goes to the Greek islands to solve a crime involving an odd millionaire and the guests in his mansion.
The first movie had a great cast, including Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christopher Plummer, and more. Rian Johnson always wanted to continue the story in a bigger, crazier, and funnier way, so he put together a great cast for the sequel, which he called Glass Onion after a Beatles song or maybe after the glass bottles used to store wine on ships.
Craig and other actors like Edward Norton and Dave Bautista (who is also getting ready for the release of the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie and the new M. Night Shyamalan movie) all play important roles in this mystery, where nothing is what it seems and anyone could be the murderer.

Daniel Craig is Benoit Blanc
We already know Benoit Blanc from the first movie. He is a private detective who is hired to try to solve difficult cases that the police can’t. Blanc locks himself and the suspects at the crime scene, and then he uses all of his deduction skills to follow the clues and question the possible criminals in order to catch the criminal in a lie and find out the truth.
Edward Norton is Miles Bron
Norton from movies like Fight Club and Prime Fear is kind of like Elon Musk in this story. He is an eccentric millionaire who started a tech company with the character of Janelle Monáe, which made him billions of dollars. Bron seems to be the one who invites the other characters to Greece as a way to escape COVID.
Kathryn Hahn is Claire Debella
Hahn is working on the Agatha Harkness series for Disney. She plays Claire, who is the governor of Connecticut, and decides to leave her people and family to go to Greece in the middle of a pandemic after Miles invites her to spend a few days at sea and away from her responsibilities.
Kate Hudson is Birdie Jay
Birdie, who is played by the main character in movies like Almost Famous and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, is a model and entrepreneur who makes her own sportswear brand. She gives her manager a lot of trouble because she does things that can be offensive and controversial, especially what she says on social media.
Dave Bautista is Duke Cody
Janelle Monae is Andi Brand
Jessica Henwick is Peg
Peg, who is played by the Love and Monsters actress, is in charge of watching Birdie and making sure she doesn’t post anything controversial on her social networks. She also has to go everywhere with Birdie, which is how she ends up going to Greece and staying in that mansion where everything happens.
